Cosmetic Grade Zinc oxide has many excellent uses for skin care, such as: to help block UV when used in creams and lotions; to provide a barrier for skin healing such as nappy rash and for acne. This cosmetic grade powder, suitable for use in making skin care products, has a consistent particle size that is non-nano. Lonjevitee Zinc Oxide powder is 0.24 microns, (240 nonometers). For particles to be considered nano sized they have to be less than 0.1 microns. Most commercial sun lotions are made with zinc oxide at 0.015 microns.

Zinc oxide is not a substance that needs to be tested on any living organism. Laboratory tests conducted by the manufacturer confirm that the particle size is within the range expected for Non-Nano. Zinc oxide is not a substance that is coated, it is a pure powder, therefore it is free from all kinds of additives.
